This is our first post, and just a test. Duchess and Marie is a nod to the precious mother/daughter relationship of aristocats Duchess and Marie. My daughter and I share something special, as I know most mothers and daughters do. We hope this blog serves as a source of inspiration and fun for other families.

My husband and I live in Northwest Arkansas, and are living out a dream in a ranch style fixer upper from the 80’s, on 3 acres and with a pool. He works from home, and I’m a public school librarian at a large high school. Our daughter, MB, is quite the busy bee at four years old, and keeps us on our toes for sure! We love our family, friends, home, and geeking out over Legos, Disney, superheroes, dinosaurs, and space! (all with a side of frills and bows!)

I plan to showcase various products that we have grown to love or recently learned about. We also plan to share aspects of our life that you may find interesting, fun, or helpful. We appreciate your support and look forward to providing more content!
